One Lawyer Credit will usually cover one clearly defined request, such as reviewing one document or a connected set of documents up to 10 pages in total, answering one legal question, or supporting one specific workflow. Reasonable follow-ups are included when they keep the same matter and factual context.

For document review, the usual reference is the total page count. As a general rule, one Lawyer Credit covers up to 10 pages; each additional block of up to 10 pages requires another Lawyer Credit. Additional credits may be required for particularly complex, urgent, high-risk, or multi-jurisdictional review.

Yes, in some cases. If the documents are up to 10 pages in total, directly connected, and part of the same matter or workflow, they may be treated as one request. The page limit is generally considered across the full request, not per document.

If Outlex determines that your request requires more than one Lawyer Credit, it may send the proposed allocation for approval before Human Legal Support starts. You must approve the additional usage for the request to proceed.

Outlex may reasonably determine whether a request should be treated as one request or multiple requests for Lawyer Credit usage, based on its actual scope and complexity.

Unless the plan expressly says otherwise, unused Lawyer Credits expire at the end of the billing period and do not roll over.

No. Lawyer Credits are not cash or payment instruments and are not transferable, refundable, or redeemable for cash, except where required by law or expressly stated in Outlex’s terms.
